Programme on 1000th Thang Long-Ha Noi Foundation Anniversary passed

      The Prime Minister, on June 10th, signed Decision No 795/QĐ-TTg to approve the Programme on the Celebration of the 1000th Anniversary of the Thang Long-Ha Noi Foundation.
The main part of the Programme will be the Great Celebration Festival to be held in 10 days from October 1st to 10th, 2010.
The opening ceremony will take place on the morning of October 1st, 2010 at several landmarks around Hoan Kiem Lake.
On the same day, there will be a number of events, including an exhibition on the socio-economic achievements of Thang Long-Hanoi and Vietnam as a whole, cultural and art exhibitions featuring historical milestones, and a special live television broadcast on the arts and music, entitled “The Whole Nation with Hanoi” that is designed and directed by international specialists.
Hanoi is also requested by the Prime Minister to actively cooperate with involved ministries, branches and localities to successfully organise all the themes of the programme.
