The Beauty of Tam Hoa plum blossoms

From some plum branches sourced from China nearly three decades ago, agricultural engineer Vu Duc Loi, the chief of the Bac Ha Fruit Research Station, grafted it to the local plum species to create Tam Hoa plum, which has brought fame to Bac Ha. Bac Ha currently has more than 1,000ha of Tam Hoa plum, yielding 10,000-15,000 tonnes of plums per year.
During the spring, plum flowers blossom whitely in Bac Ha, creating a special landscape. Many international tourists and photographers have come here to take photos.
