Wedding fashion show raises funds for hospital

      The PL Model Company in collaboration with Sheraton Saigon Hotel in HCM City on Friday launched The Week of Wedding Fashion as a benefit show for patients of the city’s Oncology Hospital and city’s orphans.
The event which will be held at Sheraton Saigon Hotel from July 10 to 12 will feature more than 100 designs for brides and grooms created by popular designers like Si Hoang, Thuan Viet and Van Thanh Cong and other major Vietnamese trademarks.
As many as 100 winners of various beauty contests, models and actors will hit the catwalk in the wedding gowns.
The organisers plan to hold an auction of dresses worn in previous beauty contests, including the ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) worn by Huong Giang, second runner-up at Miss Viet Nam Global 2009 and Thuy Dung, Miss Viet Nam 2008.
