7th Ethnic Cultural Festival gets underway

      The 7th Ethnic Cultural Festival opened in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province on June 30.
Apart from 22 cultural representatives across the province, there are also 10 troupes of artists from other provinces, including nearly 1,000 artists.
The event is a big cultural event for the province as it marks the 20th anniversary of the reestablishment of Phu Yen province on July 1 (from 1989 to 2009) and also leads up to the province’s 400th anniversary and National Tourism Year 2011.
Lots of activities are being held, including gong performances, a fashion show of traditional costumes, traditional games and photo and antiques exhibitions.
The festival will last until July 4.
