Journey to ancient Vietnamese capital cities in the pipeline

      The exploring group of the Programme “Journey to ancient Vietnamese capital cities” led by Deputy Director of the Hanoi Culture, Sports and Tourism Department Truong Minh Tien on June 29th was working with Phu Tho Province, the final destination of the journey.
The exploration of the programme aims to develop a special tourist product, serving the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Ha Noi foundation.
The survey was started on June 22nd with the participation of Hanoi’s tourism managers, experts of the Tourism Information and Promotion Center and specialist from the Vietnam Tourism Joint-Stock Company.
During the 7-day tour, the group worked with leaders of the provinces of Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue and visited relic sites of ancient capital cities under Vietnamese feudal reigns, as well as temples worshipping kings, to design tours.
After the survey, tourism agencies of Hanoi and the five provinces will, in coordination with tourism businesses, create and deliver detailed projects to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for approval.
