Mui Dai Lanh recognized as a national landmark
A solemn ceremony to receive a
certificate recognizing Bai Mon-Mui Dien as a national landmark was held on July
6th in Phu Yen Province.
Bai Mon-Mui Dien, also known as Mui Dai Lanh, is 35 km south from Tuy Hoa city.
The area contains a number of historical relics and spectacular sights.
Especially, there is an old lighthouse on Mui Dien cape, which is one of the 8
lighthouses in Vietnam dating back more than 100 years.
The lighthouse is still functional and among 79 Vietnamese operational ones; it
is at the easternmost point.
The beach in Bai Mon is blue and clean, which makes Mui Dien cape with the old
lighthouse more impressive.
Reportedly, with the newly recognized place, the central province of Phu Yen now
has 17 national landmarks.
