general management of natural resources and environment – from idea to reality”
was held in Hanoi by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in
collaboration with the Swedish Embassy to Vietnam.

Environment and Land Administration” (SEMLA) (2004-2009), which lies within the
framework of the agreement between the 2 governments of Vietnam and Sweden,
according to Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran The Ngoc.
At the seminar, delegates were expected to discuss issues on land, environment,
chemical safety, perfecting mechanisms, building capacity, improving public
awareness of environmental protection and assessments on strategic environment.
The 2-day seminar was one of a series of activities to observe the 40th
