Vietnamese antiques showcased abroad

      Under Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism’s approval, 114 typical antiques of Vietnam will be brought to an exhibition, under the theme “Vietnam’s ancient art – From delta to ocean”, to be held in the USA, according to the Cultural Heritage Department.
The exhibition aims to introduce Vietnamese culture to the public in the USA with the objects selected by the American museums. They are typical cultural traces of Vietnamese such as Cham sculpture, Sa Huynh clay pots etc.
As planned, the exhibition will open in the Huston Art Museum and Asia Association Museum from September 2009 – June 2010.
