President Ho Chi Minh’s book proposed as world heritage
Vietnam is working on a file
on “Telling Stories on the Road” by T. Lan, one of the 173 pennames of President
Ho Chi Minh, to submit to UNESCO for recognition as a world documentary
heritage.
“Telling Stories on the Road” is considered to be among the valuable works by
President Ho Chi Minh.
Ho Chi Minh wrote these stories in 1961, and they were printed in Nhan Dan
Newspaper and then gathered into a book of the same name by the Truth Publishing
House in 1963.
“Telling Stories on the Road” comprises stories told by Ho Chi Minh from his
time in France (1920) until the August Revolution in 1945.
The Ho Chi Minh Museum is compiling a file for this book to send to UNESCO for
recognition as a world documentary heritage in March 2010.
The museum has organised a seminar on this work with the participation of many
researchers.
