Hà Nội wants to popularize its millennium

      The first meeting of the Communication Subcommittee for the Millennium of Thang Long–Ha Noi was convened this morning (July 23) to fix orientations for educational and information work until the end of the year.
Mr. Phung Huu Phu, Head of the Subcommittee, highly appreciated Ha Noi’s local government and some press units for their effective communication work, helping bolster the supports to the grand anniversary of the capital city.
However, the work should be further accelerated in depth in order to encourage all walks of life to highlight patriotism, national pride and love for the capital.
Communication and educational activities, said Mr. Phu, must be concretized with specific roadmaps, plans and main points.
It is necessary to design communication and educational programs which will be used at schools, he added, stressing that “this is a chance to highlight the capital’s civilization, national pride and esteem.”
