Ancient well found in Thanh Hoa

      Archeologists have found an ancient well at Ho Citadel in Thanh Hoa.
The well is square and bordered by stone steps that become smaller and smaller in the middle. The longest side of the well is 14 metres.
Archeologists also found a water source for the well and they are doing further searches to understand better about the structure of the well.
The discovery was very important for the Ho Citadel’s file that will be sent to UNESCO to ask the organisation to grant recognition of Ho Citadel as a world’s cultural heritage, said Do Quang Trong, chief of Ho Citadel Management Unit.
