Binh Thuan hosts camp festival for disadvantaged children

      Thirty teachers and volunteers from social organisations nationwide took part in camp festival held in Hon Rom- Phan Thiet tourist resort in the southern part of Binh Thuan on July 28-29 to help both street and disadvantaged children.
The camp festival was co-organised by the HCM City Sponsors Association for Children and Binh Thuan province’s department of labour, invalids and social affairs.
At the event, the children spoke up for children’s rights and needs. It also offer them an opportunity to play folk games, practise communication skills and visit some tourists spots in Phan Thiet city.
The event also helped teachers from social organizations to meet and share experiences in taking care of and helping street and disadvantaged children.
This is part of a number of activities under the project to train teachers and help the disadvantaged children integrate back into society. The project is co-funded by the government of Wallonie Region and the Francophone community in Belgium, Air France and Dynamo International.
