Photo exhibition on Vietnam war opens in HCMC
A photo exhibition titled
“Scars of the Vietnam war” was opened by two Japanese photographers, Nishimura
Yoichi and Yasufumi Murayama, at Ho Chi Minh city’s War Remnants Museum on July
27.
It was one of the practical activities to mark the 62nd anniversary of Vietnam’s
War Invalid and Fallen Soldiers Day.
As many as 100 photographs displayed at the exhibition reflected the serious
aftermath caused by the war and moving stories about the Vietnamese land and
people.
The two Japanese photographers had spent 14 years traveling throughout Vietnam
to take photos of Vietnamese people and places that had been affected from the
war aftermath.
