An int’l tourist village erected in Phu Yen
A project to build an
international coastal tourist village in Tuy Hoa city was officially started on
August 4th by Scandia Villa & Resort Ltd., Sweden.
The project is located along the coastline, north of Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen
Province and occupies nearly 39 ha.
According to the investor, the project will consist of 40,000 sq.m. of beaches
and green parks; 200 villas; 120 hotel apartments; a 4-star tourist resort; and
a 5-star hotel with 200 rooms.
Some US $10 million will be poured into the project, said the investor.
Under the schedule, the whole project will be wrapped up in 5 years; but, its
major construction must be finished in 2011 to welcome tourists on the occasion
of the National Tourism Year to be held in Phu Yen in 2011.
The investor hopes that the village will become a foreign tourist attraction in
Vietnam.
