HCMC’s 100 most interesting items program launched
Ho Chi Minh City Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the city’s Tourism Association
on August 8th held a seminar to introduce the “HCMC – 100 most interesting
items” campaign to further promote and standardise tourism quality in the city.
Reportedly, both domestic and foreign voters can join the programme to select
their best 100 interesting things about Ho Chi Minh City. The selected items
will be made public later.
The programme which will last until late 2009 also aims to discover and
popularise special cultural and tourism values to tourists as well as to
encourage travel agencies to enhance service quality, and the competitiveness
between HCMC and other localities and countries in the region.
