A tourist sea line to Con Dao to be exploited

The proposal to open a sea tourist route between the shore and the renowned island of Con Dao has finally been approved by the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial People’s Committee.
Accordingly, Dong Duong Ltd. is permitted to exploit the sea route.
General Director of Dong Duong, Nguyen Van Loc, said that his company is planning to build a large 4-star tourist ship. The ship will also function as a hotel with 90 cabins for tourists, restaurants, bars and entertainment facilities.
The company will invest US$8 million to build the ship and related seaport infrastructure in Vung Tau, Con Dao and Ho Chi Minh City.
Director Loc said that the tourist ship will depart from Ho Chi Minh City, then transit Vung Tau and finally arrive in Con Dao. Tourists will enjoy the sea voyage and historical and eco-tours in Con Dao island.
