14 international airlines to bring tourists to Hue

As many as 14 international airlines have signed MOUs to promote the opening of airline routes to Hue city.
That resulted from the “Meeting of Tourism Promotion and Popularisation and Solutions to Attract More International Airlines to the Imperial City of Hue”, held today in Thua Thien-Hue province with the participation of nearly 50 international airlines and travel agencies, mostly from Southeast Asia and Northern Asia, together with the top ten Vietnamese travel agencies.
At the meeting, Nguyen Ngoc Thien, chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, assured that Thua Thien-Hue province will create favourable conditions related to policies and procedures for international airlines interested in opening non-stop airline routes to Hue via Phu Bai International Airport.
Moreover, the Central Airline Port Corporation will give support to any airline service fees and prices applied for new airlines. Flights that do not coincide with the rush hour at the Phu Bai airport are encouraged.
