Vietnam Airlines launches web check-in service

Vietnam Airlines said it launched on Wednesday a web check-in service on its website www.vietnamairlines.com.vn.
With the new service, passengers can select their seat and print their own boarding pass to complete the check-in, the carrier said.
Le Hoang Dung, a senior official at the national flag carrier, said the service is applicable for passengers with confirmed bookings, a valid eTicket and no check-in baggage.
The airline said the service will be provided on a trial basis through November 25, on domestic flights from Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Da Nang International Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.
It plans to expand the service to more routes in the future.
