Japanese travel agents to survey destinations in Vietnam

 Representatives from 43 leading tourist companies from the Japan Association of Travel Agents will be in Vietnam from September 8 to 12 in order to explore new tourist sites in Vietnam.
The tourist attractions studied this time will be in Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam and Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Japan Association of Travel Agents last year signed a memorandum of understanding to promote tourism development in both countries.
The memorandum marks a commitment the two countries have made to increase the number of Japanese tourists to Vietnam to 600,000 in 2010.
