Vietnam Airlines offers online check-in

Vietnam Airlines has introduced a system that allows certain passengers to check in online at www.vietnamairlines.com for domestic flights from Ha Noi, HCM City and Da Nang airports. Holders of confirmed tickets can visit the site to select their seats and then the boarding pass on an A4-size paper.
They are required to appear at the airport at least 45 minutes before departure time for reconfirmation at the check-in counter. But the service is not offered to passengers who want to check in luggage, have requests for special services or have discount tickets.
The carrier has also unveiled plans to begin a direct flight from Ha Noi to Fukuoka in southern Japan. The twice-weekly service, which will press into service Airbus 320 aircraft, is scheduled to begin on October 10.
Viet Nam Airlines already operates two flights a week to Fukuoka from HCM City.
