Uncle Ho’s life features in documentary
More than 10 directors are collaborating to
produce a 25-episode documentaryon Implementation of Uncle Ho’s Testament in 40
years.
The first episodes aired on August 30 and 31. More follow on VTV1 (Vietnam’s
Television Channel 1) at 8pm from September 3-6.
The rest of the documentary will be filmed and released next year to mark
President Ho Chi Minh’s 120th birth anniversary.
The documentary is spilt into three parts. The first episode is President Ho Chi
Minh with the Historic Testament. The following 20 episodes cover how the people
and party have implemented the testament in the past 40 years.
The final four episodes covers the Implementation of the Testament in the
Integration and Development Period.
The directors said they expected TV audiences to appreciate Ho Chi Minh’s
intelligence, morality and devotion as well as efforts to implement the
testament in the past 40 years, said Vietnam Feature Film Studio deputy director
Vuong Duc.
Joining Duc are well known directors and film crew such as Le Duc Tien, Le Van
Duy, Duong Cam Thuy, Dang Nhat Minh, Hai Ninh, Khac Loi and Khanh Du.
During the 25 episodes, different directors will try to express different styles
to interest the audience.
Artist Ly Thai Dung is the main cameraman and artist Huy Thanh is in charge of
general editing.
The HCM City Film Association and the studio are jointly producing the
documentary.
