Number of tourists to Binh Thuan in August

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan Province announced that the province’s Phan Thiet City had lured 183,000 tourists, 17,000 of them foreigners, in August. Compared to July, the number of tourists did not go up, but foreign tourists increased by 46%.
Most of them came from Russia (14%), France (12.5%), South Korea (12.2%), the U.S. (10%), the Netherlands (8.5%) and Germany (6.3%). The city has attracted over 175,000 foreign tourists this year, a 20% year-on-year increase, to gain VND1.175 trillion, a 3.5% year-on-year increase.
