Photos of Mexico on display in Hanoi
The “Mexican colours” exhibition has opened at 29
Hang Bai street, Hanoi to mark Mexican Independence Day (September 16, 1810 –
2009)
The photos, taken by Mexican photographers and Pham Tien Dung, Vice
Editor-in-chief of Vietnam Pictorial Magazine will give Vietnamese people a
comprehensive view of Mexico, which has many similarities to Vietnam in culture.
The exhibition is aimed at promoting mutual understanding and multi-faceted
co-operation between the two countries.
Mexico, in Central America, is a very large country covering a total area of 2,2
million sq. km with a population of 106 million people of all colours and races.
The country has a diverse range of environments and a special culture and it is
also the cradle of the Maya and Azteca civilisations.
The exhibition will run until September 20.
