Building a five-star Vietnamese Village resort in Hue

     The central province of Thua Thien-Hue commenced construction of a five-star Vietnamese Village resort in Hue city on Feb. 19. Funded by the Trung Viet Joint Stock Company, the village, the first of its kind in the country, is estimated to cost 100 billion VND (5.7 million USD).
In the first phase, scheduled for completion in the next two years, a reception hall, bungalows and sports areas, a restaurant, resort and spa area and craft villages will be constructed on land covering a total area of 7 hectares.
The second phase will see the upgrade and expansion of the whole project to 30 ha, encompassing and focusing on high-end bungalows.
Once operational, the Vietnamese Village resort is expected to offer an attractive tourist destination imbued with Hue style. Tourists who visit the site will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional dishes from the region and stay in period accommodation, which incorporates a uniquely Vietnamese architectural style.
