Quang Ninh to host EATOF in 2010

Quang Ninh Province is to host the 10th East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum (EATOF) at the end of 2010, according to local officials.
Founded in 2000, EATOF is an annual event, drawing the participation of 10 provinces of 10 regional nations, namely Cebu, the Philippines; Chiang Mai, Thailand; Gangwon, South Korea; Jilin, China; Primorsky, Russia; Quang Ninh, Vietnam; Sarawak, Malaysia; Tottori, Japan; Tuv, Mongolia; and Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The 9th East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum was recently held in Gangwon, South Korea, where participants agreed to vote and promote Ha Long Bay as one of 7 world natural wonders.
Representatives from the 10 nations also agreed, at the meeting, to add 2 more members, namely Luang Prabang, Laos and Siem Reap, Cambodia, to the 10th forum.
