Swiss BelHotel Intl signs deal with local resort

Swiss BelHotel International has won a 10-year contract to manage the Sacom Resort in the French-style town of Da Lat in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong. The deal, signed with the Telecommunication Cables and Material Joint-stock Company (SACOM), aims to provide services at international standards and meet different demands such as tourism in combination with convalescence, sports and international conferences.
The SACOM President and General Director, Do Van Trac, said at the signing ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on October 2, it selected the Swiss group for the deal based on its experience in managing four and five star hotels.
In Vietnam Swiss BelHotel manages major hotels such as the Horizon and others nationwide in Halong Bay, Hoi An ancient town, Danang city in the central region and Phan Thiet, in Khanh Hoa province.
The Sacom Resort is built on an area of almost 278 ha, close to the heart of Da Lat. It consists of two sections, including a 18-hole golf course, four and five star hotels, villas, bars and restaurants, a boat port, a shopping centre and a sports area.
The initial investment topped 2 trillion VND.
