Hanoi promotes tourism to the world

Hanoi has been making a multilingual film to advertise the city’s tourism under the theme “Hanoi Tourism Discovery”.
The city’s Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism is pushing up activities to celebrate 1,000 years of Hanoi next year. In addition to travel brochures sent to banks, post offices, international organizations and embassies, the city has taken part in various tourism promotion activities abroad, including the “Hanoi Cultural Days” in Paris, and roadshows in Japan, Singapore, the US, and UK.
VietHotel’09, an international exhibition on hotels, restaurants and softdrinks, has been recently launched in Hanoi with the participation of more than 200 foreign businesses. The event introduces different activities such as Vietnamese rice wine contests and Vietnamese coffee contests.
