Vietnamese and Republic of Korean Cultural Week

The Vietnamese and Republic of Korean Cultural Week will be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from October 18-25 to boost the traditional friendship between the two countries in education, culture and public health.
The annual event will feature a festival of RoK films in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; a photographic exhibition; football matches; a culinary festival of food from RoK; an exhibition on education; and a ceremony to grant Kumho-Asiana and POSCO scholarships to Vietnamese students and to present 10,800 books to the Vietnamese National Library and various Vietnamese universities.
During the cultural week, there will be some forums and workshops held on economic cooperation, vocational development held by experts from both countries.
A trade fair on job opportunities will also be held on October 21-22 with the participation of 20 RoK companies.
Previously, on September 3-6, a Vietnamese cultural week was held in the RoK with a series of activities including an exhibition of photos of Vietnam’s countryside and its people; a show of Vietnamese traditional dress and a Vietnamese film festival.
