Vietnam Culture Week in Brazil taking place in Brazilia Capital

Vietnam Culture Week in Brazil is taking place in Brazilia Capital from October 11 to 23, 2009. In his speech at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh affirmed that the Vietnam Culture Week in Brazil is one of the important events to develop the relationship and multi-sided co-operation between Vietnam and Brazil.
On this occasion, Minister Hoang Tuan Anh and senior delegation of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam attended the meeting and bilateral conversation with Brazilian relevant authorities to strengthen the relations on the field of culture, sports and tourism between two countries.
As part of the Vietnam Culture Week, Vietnamese artists stage a number of traditional art performances with songs, dances and music. In addition, there are also photo exhibition, Vietnamese film week and promotion publications.
