1,800-year-old tomb discovered
A tomb has been excavated on Thanh Den Mountain,
Thuy Nguyen District of northern city of Hai Phong.
The tomb consists of a wooden-trunk coffin and a cage-shaped outer coffin made
of ironwood.
Seven wood trays, four statues, and various remains such as plates, cups, combs,
vases, and bowls, among others have been discovered but no human remains have
been found within the coffin.
According to experts from the Hai Phong Museum, the tomb may date back 1,800
years and further research will be conducted on it.
