Saigontourist launches promotion for Delta’s citizens
Saigontourist Travel Services Co. has just
launched a special promotion program marking tour prices off around US$70 for
all travelers in the Mekong Delta who buy a five-day tour to Bangkok and Pattaya
of Thailand, the company said.
Doan Thi Thanh Tra, Saigontourist’s marketing manager, told the Daily on Monday
that the company has cooperated with Vietnam Airlines and Thai partners to
organize the first big promotion program for all people in the region.
Under the program, people will be offered a discounted tour price of only US$279
per person compared to the normal price of US$349, an effort aimed to encourage
more people there to travel, she said.
The discounted tours have been arranged to begin on January 13, 14, and 18 next
year. For visitors who are not eligible for the program but want to travel
together with their relatives who are targeted beneficiaries, preferential tour
price of US$315 per person will apply, which is still lower than the normal
price.
Saigontourist has operated a branch in Can Tho City since April in an effort to
attract more tourists in the city and the whole region. Up to now, the branch
has attracted nearly 3,000 people there to travel across the country and abroad.
“We have better business result than expected. The region is a big source of
tourists and that’s why we need to launch promotion programs to encourage more
people to travel,” Tra said.
Tourists in the Mekong Delta can buy the tour at Saigontourist – Can Tho at
104-106 Nguyen An Ninh Street in Can Tho City, or at the company’s headquarters
at 49 Le Thanh Ton Street in HCMC’s District 1.
