National Youth Month launched in HCM City

     The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union officially launched the 2009 National Youth Month in HCM City on February 28 to assist young people with vocational training and help poor people and those living in border areas and on remote islands.
The Youth Union will focus on activities such as counselling young people about borrowing capital to pursue studies, seek jobs and work overseas.
At the launch ceremony, young representatives from 14 provinces and cities nationwide presented soldiers and sailors at the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago with gifts including books, computers and solar cells.
After the ceremony, thousands of youths in HCM City donated blood and joined a forum on “The Youth and Vietnamese goods” and a job trading floor for young people.
