Hoa Lu Festival to be held on a larger scale this year

This year’s Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Festival will be organised at the provincial level in order to popularise the festival and preserve its traditional rituals, said the Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee.
The three-day festival will be held during the third month of the lunar calendar, which falls on April 19-21 this year, and will attract many visitors.
This year, the Water Procession ritual will be held in tandem with the Fire Procession, which symbolises the balance between yin and yang.
