Hanoi to organize 51 flower markets on Lunar New Year 2010
According to the Hanoi Industry and Trade Department, Hanoi will organize 51
flower and agricultural product markets to serve local people on the occasion of
Lunar New Year 2010 from February 3-13.
In the inner city, there will be 16 markets; the remaining will be organized in
suburban areas. Apart from traditional flower markets held in Hang Luoc, Hang
Ma, Hang Khoai streets in Hoan Kiem district, Quang An flower market in the Tay
Ho district, there will be a lot of flower markets held in large spaces with
suitable transportation.
These flower and agricultural product markets must ensure commercial
civilization, food safety, environmental hygiene and public order. The municipal
city requires authorities and districts where these markets are organized to
create favourable conditions for markets to operate.
