Bac Ninh province launched a contest on 1000 cultural years of Thang Long – Hanoi

The northern province of Bac Ninh has launched a contest on 1000 cultural years of Thang Long – Hanoi among cadres, young people, and people from all walks of life in the province.
The activity marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as welcoming the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi.
The programme is sponsored by the Bac Ninh provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Bac Ninh provincial Departments of Education and Training, and Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The contest aims to help participants better understand the historical and cultural tradition of the nation in order to welcome the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi.
The contest will be reviewed in May 2010.
