Saigontourist seeks turnover of US$1 billion

Saigontourist (the Sai Gon Tourist Corporation) has just founded a joint-stock company named Saigon-An Phat, according to the corporation’s General Director.
The new organisation would help the corporation quickly proceed to buying out a hotel in the state of California, the USA, the General Director said.
Reportedly, Saigontourist and the hotel owner are still negotiating over the price and other conditions.
In addition to its investment in the USA, the corporation will implement a number of projects in Vietnam this year. These include the extension of the Sai Gon International Exhibition Center, Continental 5-star hotel, extension of Majestic Hotel, Kim Do hotel complex and an eco-tourist site on Phu Quoc Island.
