Vietnamese day in Hungary

A Vietnamese day will be held at the Corinthia Royal Budapest on February 25 to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Hungary diplomatic relations.
The event will be co-organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary and the fund for Vietnam-Hungary relations, a fund to help preserve and develop the friendship and cultural relationship between the two countries.
The aim is to introduce guests to a traditional Vietnam which is rapidly integrating into the world’s diplomatic circles and to some tourist attractions and food specialities.
The event including an art exhibition by Vietnamese artists, an exhibition of handicrafts and fine art and a traditional dress fashion show will be attended by 20 ambassadors in Hungary, representatives of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese associations in Hungary.
A musical performance will be given by Nguyen Thanh Hien, who finished in the top six of Hungary’s Megastar Idol 2008 competition.
