The Arirang Tourist Company from the Republic of
Korea (RoK) held a nanta show in Hanoi on March 2 in an effort to lure more
Vietnamese tourists to the Northeast Asia country. The nanta show, in which
artists using kitchen items as percussion instrument, was first formed in
October 1997 and since then has developed quickly, drawing the interest of not
only Korean people but also foreign tourists.
On the sidelines of the nanta show, Arirang introduced the Everland Resort in
Yongin, Seoul to Hanoi-based tourist companies.
To lure more Vietnamese tourists to RoK, Arirang has collaborated closely with
tourist companies and airlines offering services from Vietnam to RoK.
According to the tourist companies, the number of Vietnamese tourists to RoK is
rising.
