2010 International Kite Festival to attract about 200,000 visitors

The second International Kite Festival, scheduled to be held from March 24th to 29th in Bien Dong Tourism Site, Vung Tau city, is expected to attract around 200,000 domestic and international visitors.
About 200 artisans from different countries and territories over the world have registered to participate in this year’s festival, under the theme “Legend-Thousand Years”.
The festival’s organiser unveiled that, as a part of the second International Kite Festival, an Eastsouthern region Kite Festival would take place with the performance of 1,000 kites which symbolize 1,000 years of Thang Long-Hanoi.
A stage with 250 seats is ready for participants.
