Art corner to boost Vietnam – RoK culture exchange
An art programme named ‘Art Corner’, will be held
every Wednesday afternoon at the Republic of Korea (RoK) Cultural Centre aiming
at creating in a venue for both Vietnamese and Korean people who come here to
share their talents.
The ‘Art Corner in Wednesday Afternoon’ will take place in half an hour, from
5pm, every Wednesday. Attendees to the programme not only have a chance to enjoy
performances of music, fine arts, magic trick, tea drinking culture, fashion,
taekwondo, but also can join to present the shows of their own.
The first programme which will open tomorrow will last for one hour, from 5pm to
6pm. Tomorrow’s show will bring about samulnori dance from a group of Hanoi
International School, magic trick, symphony orchestra from the Vietnam National
Music Institute and hip hop dance.
Next programmes will introduce performances of classic guitar, Korean cuisine,
puppetry, ao dai (Vietnam traditional long dress) and Hanbok fashion show and
shadow dance.
According to Director of the RoK Cultural Centre Keum Gi Hyung, this is one of
the activities to welcome the millennium anniversary of Hanoi and contributes to
boosting the cultural exchange between Vietnam and RoK.
