Saigontourist arranges tours for US war veterans

Saigontourist Travel Service Company will launch a Meeting-Incentive-Conference-Event (MICE) programme for 18 members of the US Dove charity organisation from March 19-April 5.
The 18 visitors are mainly US war veterans. While in Vietnam, the group will visit former battlefields and perform charity work in several localities.
They will visit the Huong Xuan and Hai An healthcare centres, the Vy Da resettlement village (in Hue), the Hai Lang, Trung Hai, Ai Tu and Trieu Trung schools, the Global village project (in Da Nang), and the Leprosy village project for handicapped people (in Quy Nhon).
A ceremony to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Dove will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on April 3.
Dove began its charity work in Vietnam in 2000 and ever since Saigontourist has hosted all of Dove’s activities.
