Hoa Lu Ancient Capital festival to be held

The Hoa Lu Ancient Capital festival will be held in the historical temples of the kings of the Dinh and Le dynasties in Truong Yen commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province from April 19 to 21.
According to Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee Tran Huu Binh, this year’s festival, organised at the provincial level, is imbued with the cultural identity of the North Vietnamese Delta.
The festival includes an art performance programme praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh and the country in the renovation process.
A beauty contest, sports and folk games are also held during the festival.
