ASEAN culture, people highlighted

Images depicting the culture and people of ASEAN nations are on display from April 5-9 in the lounge of the National Convention Centre, the venue of the 16th ASEAN Summit.
The display, held by the International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is part of activities to welcome the summit, themed “Towards an ASEAN community: From Action to Vision” to be held on April 8-9.
Typical images of each ASEAN country were printed in 2.4m x 1.1m panels with descriptive legends.
The display also features the traditional costumes of each ASEAN member country.
