Items on ethnic culture to be collected

The Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village has lately launched a campaign encouraging people to donate belongings, utensils and documents depicting ethnic culture. The donation is considered as their contribution to preserving and bringing these cultural values into life.
The donations can be either physical, spiritual, tangible or intangible and relating to the cultural life and religion of 54 ethic minority groups of Vietnam. They could be a knife, a papoose, loin-cloth, a strange stone, or a totem.
Any objects relating to the national construction and defence, including bamboo spikes, crossbows, traps as well as items concerning social and natural history of the country such as literary works, videos and recorded files, are also sought as donations.
The campaign does not give any limits on the number, kind, material or source.
The deadline for the first phase of this campaign is September 9th, 2010.
