60 villages to participate in 2nd Vietnam Craft Festival

The second Vietnam Traditional Craft Village Festival 2010 will be held in Da Nang City between May 19th and 23rd.
According to the organisers, there will be 100 pavilions of 60 craft villages nationwide to showcase traditional handicrafts at the festival.
In addition to the displays of handicrafts, visitors will witness craftspeople making goods and participate in Vietnamese folk games.
The Vietnam Traditional Craft Village Festival aims to honor craft villages and craftspeople as well as preserve the national traditional quintessence.
It also serves as a venue for domestic and international craftspeople to exchange experience and boost cooperation.
