Close-up of Hue Festival’s major stages

The festival will open in early June. To prepare for this magnificent event, the organizing board has built imposing stages with modern lighting and audio systems.
The stage built at Ngo Mon Square to serve the opening ceremony is the largest at three stories tall and it can revolve. Built by Green Connection - Hung Thanh company, this is the first stage of this type in Vietnam.
Other stages built in Thuong Tu, at the communal house of Kim Long village, the Hue royal palace and An Dinh palace are also installed with the best equipment.
The 1500sq.m floating stage on Tinh Tam Lake promises to be a big surprise for the audience. Ca tru, quan ho and nha nhac Hue – three world cultural heritages – will be performed on this stage.
According to the organizers, there are 12 stages totaling 25,000 seats to serve visitors of the Hue Festival 2010. All of them use Korean technology, meeting strict standards on safety.
