Hanoi to host second International Puppetry Festival

The second International Puppetry Festival will be held in the capital city of Hanoi from September 20 to 30 as an event to celebrate the millennium anniversary of Thang Long- Hanoi.
The festival will attract the participation of over 20 professional puppetry troupes at home and abroad.
It also brings opportunity for Vietnam’s artists to exchange experiences with their colleagues from other countries and to promote the Vietnamese traditional water puppetry.
The event is held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
