VN Air allows online payments at Techcombank

Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint-stock Bank (Techcombank) on Wednesday accepts online payments by those having booked Vietnam Airlines tickets at the airline’s website through the bank’s service called F@st i-Bank.
Online payments for air tickets are the result of a partnership involving Techcombank, Vietnam Airlines Corp. and the card service firm SmartLink. This enables passengers to pay online within 12 hours after they have reserved seats for the carrier’s domestic and international flights.
Passengers are required to enter their reservation codes on F@st i-Bank and follow the guidance. Guests can register this service for free either on the website of Techcombank or at any of its transaction points nationwide, and they will be provided with a token key to use this service.
Guests need cards with accounts at Techcombank for fare payment through F@st i-Bank at the Internet Banking section at https://www.techcombank.com.vn/.
Vietnam Airlines now accepts passengers’ web check-in at www.vietnamairlines.com for domestic and international flights from Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat international airports.
Holders of confirmed tickets can select their seats on the site and print the boarding pass on an A4-size paper.
Passengers must show themselves at the airport at least 45 minutes ahead of departure time for reconfirmation at the check-in counter. The web check-in service does not work for the passengers who want to check in luggage and beneficiaries of discount tickets.
Vietnam Airlines on Tuesday started to operate more domestic flights to meet the surging demand for summer air travel. As planned, the carrier will operate an additional 826 flights until August 31 this year.
Also on Tuesday, Vietnam’s Jetstar Pacific resumed its Hanoi-Nha Trang service with two daily flights and began two daily services between this capital city and the central coastal city of Danang. These extra flights are effective until September 5.
