Cruise MK 334.1 Incident
As the sky became darker and the first drops of rain started to fall the purser decided to invite the passengers back to the ship when a sudden gusts of wind moved the boat away from the sandbank.
The purser suddenly ordered to stop the embarkation while the ship got pushed further and finally drifted away.
Only 8 passengers were been able to board the, the others remained on the sandbank. The weather changed within minutes from a fair sunset to real heavy thunder and lighting.
The captain dropped the anchor midstream and soon after the wind calmed down about 30 minutes later he sailed back to the sand bank to take back on board the stranded passengers.
At 19.00 hrs the ship cast off and the dinner was served as usual at 19.30 hrs.
Afterwards all passengers had been invited to an open bar on the sundeck and offered free laundry service as well.
We want to reassure you that none was injured and that those passengers left behind on the sandbank had received all the necessary and possible assistance from our crew.
