10,000 people to perform in Hanoi’s Millennial Gala

A 100-minute gala to celebrate Hanoi’s 1000th anniversary will take place at the My Dinh National Stadium in the evening of October 10, with 10,000 artists.
This is the closing event for a series of cultural activities to welcome Hanoi’s 1000th birthday.
On that day, the four gates of My Dinh Stadium will be decorated in four cultural formats, symbolizing the culture of South Vietnam, the Northwestern region, the coastal region and the Central Highlands.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung told the organizing board to make the gala the most special event. Hanoi Chair Nguyen The Thao will approve the gala script.
Hanoi authorities and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will choose a group of directors for this great event, based on suggestions by writer Nguyen Khac Phuc, the script’s author.
The gala will end with a special fireworks show.
